I am a recent Masters graduate from Yonsei University’s Graduate School of International Studies, where I majored in International Cooperation, focusing on International Security & Foreign Policy and International Law & Organisations. I was chosen from hundreds of applicants for a full scholarship from Samsung and the Royal British Legion for academic excellence and potential.

In 2018, I co-founded and organised Seoul Drag Parade, the largest parade celebrating the art of drag in Asia. The first parade attracted 1,000 participants and we followed this up with weekly events all over Korea, including charity fundraisers in support of LGBTQIA+ youth in South Korea. Our promotional tour of the event included cities all over South Korea, as well as Hong Kong, New York, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Copenhagen, and London.

Prior to starting my Masters degree I worked in London as a Marketing Exec, at one of London's award winning boutique digital agencies. My experience there honed my account management, social media and marketing skills - working for esteemed clients including The Body Shop, Mecca Bingo, Domino's Pizza and Molton Brown.

I'm hard-working and quick to learn and adapt. Having recently relocated to London, I am now looking for the next opportunity to excel and further my skills and contribute towards a new project.

From Seoul to Los Angeles;
I am a first-year MBA student at UCLA Anderson School of Management with a focus on Tech, especially SaaS and MaaS. For the last 5 years, I worked at the Strategic Planning Division of Hyundai Steel as a business analyst and strategy manager, in establishing long-term corporate strategy and strengthening the global presence of the company. I love influencing many people with my creativity and passion for the workplace and want to expand the scope from South Korea to the United States, eventually the World. I aspire to leverage my analytic skills and strategy experiences to pursue a new strategy and business management career in the tech and entertainment industry at a higher level.

An independent global cultural anthropologist, ethnographic researcher and strategist.

Hold tight while I restrategize this bio. It's worked for me for years and now in 2022, feels like a whole different lifetime and it just didn't feel authentic to keep up. So forgive me while I work on the most dreaded project a strategist has: re-strategizing self!

In the meantime, hit me up for any brand/cultural/innovation strat, or research/insights/trends/semiotics needs. Still here for that!
